ADM-2542 is Isolated 4-Ports RS-485 bus Hub. The baud rate supports the maximum 115.2kbps, RS-485 interface adopts photoelectric isolation technology, built-in photoelectric isolator and 600W surge protection circuit, which can provide 1500V isolation voltage and effectively suppress lightning and ESD. RS-485 can automatically judge the direction of the data stream, and automatically switch and control.

ADM-2542 supports star structure RS-485 bus connection, every port has short circuit and open circuit protection, users can easily improve RS-485 bus structure, divide sub network and improve communication reliability. When the device fails, the port of the failure will be isolated to ensure that the other ports are working properly. This design greatly improves the reliability of the RS-485 network and effectively shortens the maintenance time of the network.
