Introduction
ADM-4180D is 16 Channel isolated digital / switch input module, which is widely used in industrial field, signal acquisition, monitoring and control. It has 16 channels of isolated digital input, and 1~8 channels of digital input has counter function. Each channel of DI0-DI7 has a 16-bit counter, which can measure the switching pulse within 200Hz.
The communication interface is RS-485 interface that supports the standard MODBUS-RTU protocol and can be connected to configuration software, PLC, and DCS industrial touch screen.

Indicator light definition
1. POWER: Power indication, "bright" power supply is normal

Using the default communication parameters
When you forget the baud rate, parity bit, ID, etc. You can short circuit the INIT and DGND, and then power on. The module will use the initial values (9600, N, 8, 1, ID 1) to communicate with the master station.
When INIT and DGND pin is disconnected, the module will use user-defined parameters to communicate with the master station.

The common end of 16 digital inputs is internally connected to VS+, and common positive pole input. It can receive the output signal of A-type normally open relay or NPN transistor collector open circuit.
